JOSÉ LUÍS PEIXOTO AT PORTUGUESE EMBASSY

The poet José Luís Peixoto, considered the most important writer of the new generation, has already been translated into 11 languages. He has important works in prose, poetry, theatre, songs and chronicles.

Next Monday, 8th October at 6pm, José Luís Peixoto will be present in the event "hoje somos cinco" (today we are five), where you can have direct contact with the poet and hear some of his poems read by himself and by some Lithuanian students of Portuguese.
The event will take place at the Embassy of Portugal, Gedimino 5.
